Autobiography – Jenny Dullas
I am a Filipino American, born and raised in Lancaster,CA. I previously attended Antelope Valley High School, where I graduated in gold and was ranked as the fifth valedictorian. Currently, I am a freshmen here at Cal State Northridge. Also, I am part of EOP and before starting school, I attended a summer bridge program over the summer which was Freshstart. I am the first person in my family that is attending college. I am majoring in Public Health Promotion, in which I plan to pursue a career as a Certified Nurse Midwife or a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The main goal I have while being here at CSUN is to continue on striving for success, but at the same time try to enjoy the college experience, despite any obstacles that may come. After college, I hope one day I can be an inspiration to others and give back to those who are less fortunate, especially in the Philippines. As a hobby, I love taking pictures with family and friends, because I believe in cherishing every moment in our lives. When it comes to writing, I believe that my learning will not stop in English 113A class, but also in future classes that require me to expand my writing abilities.
